The not-looking so lovely, wet and grumpy Kait here to give you the weather report from rainy New Jersey. It is raining, raining and raining some more.
We were so looking forward to the airshow at Maguire Air Force today. After waiting in traffic for nearly an hour to get in the base, we got there and it started raining.
We (using the term 'we' loosely as fault landed squarely on mom for not being a mind reader and not bring the umbrellas!) forgot to bring our umbrellas, but decided to wait the rain out. It started lightning and raining harder as we waited. The kids needed a bathroom break so we had to go inside a hangar to use the portable potties.
The portable potties outside had been tied up because we were having hard winds and got a tornado warning.
I got all wet taking Liam to the bathroom, and you should have seen how stylish my punk looked wearing his very stylish, must have raingear, a/k/a black garbage bag.
But I did manage to take a couple of photos, and we do expect to go back tomorrow early. 341
