Presented by Pages to Pirouettes Ballet Troupe

A night of fairy tales as the Philadelphia-area troupe, which specializes in the magical art of story ballet, performs two children’s classic stories.

The troupe first reads each story and then performs it in ballets. “Sleeping Beauty”- During this once-upon-a-time presentation, set to the magnificent music of Peter Tchaikovsky, the dancers will bring to life a day of royal celebration for the new baby Princess Aurora.

On the day of the party, the dark fairy, Carabosse, the infant princess to death, but the Lilac Fairy softens the curse so that Aurora waits in a deep sleep for true love's first kiss.

“Cinderella” – Living with her two wicked step-sisters, Cinderella spends her days cleaning and laboring in the house. When the Prince invites the whole kingdom to a royal ball, she is forbidden to go, but her Fairy Godmother helps her achieve her dream.

This enchanting tale is told with humor and elegance, and choreographed to the music of Sergei Prokofiev. http://www.pages-to-pirouettes.com/.

I can't wait for next week's performance as The Odessa Klezmer Band will be playing. I am a big fan of Klezmer music and plan to be there, front row of course! 505
