Are You Lacking Inspiration?

Scrapbook-Graphics has a ton of challenges going on that are sure to spark your interest and creativity. AND, if you participate in the spirit club you earn free stuff.

WEEKLY CHALLENGES
Frameworthy - This is our art inspiration challenge that Donna and Kim take turns posting. This week Ann is subbing for Kim and has a truly unique artist to inspire you! Frameworthy challenges come out on Monday each week.

I Can Scraplift That!- Kait and Michelle take turns finding interesting layouts in our gallery for us to scraplift.
Scraplifting means being inspired by a layout you’ve seen in a magazine or gallery. You could copy the page design, the color scheme, the title, a quote or the whole darned thing! This challenge is posted every Tuesday.

Studio Starts - If you’re a regular Studio Matters blog reader, you know that we post a challenge every Friday right here. These challenges run through a regular rotation of Color It, List It, and Studio Girls Scraplifts as well as either journaling prompts, themes or impromptu ideas the Studio Crew comes up with.

BI-WEEKLY CHALLENGES
Alphabet Shoot - Every other week, usually on Tuesdays, Stephanie posts an All About Me challenge. She’s been giving us a word to scrap, and those words have been in alphabetical order. The challenge is to scrap about yourself using a new photo of YOU.

Encyclopedia of an Ordinary - Year Jenn posts her challenges every other week on Tuesdays, too. Her concept is to scrap something from your average, ordinary life using a letter prompt (she’s going in alphabetical order, too). By the end of the year you’ll have 26 amazing pages about your real life!

We Can Build It! - Tammy and I take turns posting a list of design elements for you to include on a new scrapbook page. Our Build It lists could include a kind of paper, a specific element, a theme, number of photos or who knows what! Very fun! We post these challenges every other Thursday.

MONTHLY CHALLENGES
Desktop Challenge During the last week of the month, Tammy encourages us to get our next computer desktops ready for the next month. This is always a great reminder and just plain fun!

Quick Page Exchange Shortly after our Studio Girls’ monthly collab comes out, Wendy posts an invitation to join us in a Quick Page Exchange using the kit. All the participants must use ONLY the most recent collab to create their quick pages, and then they submit them to Wendy for inclusion in a group album. All participants receive the album and the album goes up for sale in the store for others to enjoy! Proceeds from the sale of the albums go towards promotion and site expenses.

RAK Challenge This is a new photo exchange challenge we started this month. Jenna is coordinating this exciting new project. Sign up by the 8th of the month, and then Jenna will pair you with another participant. You then communicate with your partner, exchange photos and scrap for each other. You then send the flattened version to your partner and enjoy!

Submit It! This is Karen Maggie’s reminder to all of us to get out there and submit our pages to various publications. Maggie has one of the most extensive online resources for calls that I’ve ever seen and spends a great deal of time keeping it current. We hope this makes it easy for you to find a call that fits for you. The Submit It challenge is your place to share what you’re submitting and to toot when you get accepted!

Theme Album Challenge This challenge began at the beginning of the year, but there’s no reason you can’t jump in and start creating a whole album at any point. Karen Maggie provides a two-page template each month, and those participants that complete the challenge by the end of the year (12 two-page spreads on a theme) will receive a 50% off coupon good for any Wendyzine Scraps Shutterfly or MyPicTales action set.

IMPROMPTU CHALLENGES Sometimes we come up with an idea that doesn’t fit into any of our current challenges, so we put it in our Impromptu Challenges forum! You never know what we might challenge you to try!

PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGES
In this forum you will find our previous DSLR for Newbies series. Even though it’s not currently taking place, you can still complete the exercises at your own pace.

SERIES CHALLENGES
Our series challenges take place over the course of the several weeks and are put on by various Studio Crew members. In the past we’ve done Brag Book Challenges, Build Your Own Groupies challenges and conducted our own QuirkShop. Stay tuned for more series challenges!

ARCHIVED CHALLENGES
Though these challenges are no longer taking place, you may still find inspiration in the forum! Check ‘em out!

Well, I hope this recap helps you see that there is plenty of stuff to get involved with at Scrapbookgraphics. And if you have an idea for a challenge, let us know! We’d love to hear it!

Kait, I LOVE the music you have playing on the blog right now. Besides all the eye candy and great content, now I get to listen to music that provides some of those "Calgon, take me away" moments. Good stuff here!
