When the clock strikes 6 p.m., the sun goes down and the ghouls come out. We watched as the park transformed from "thrills by day" to "chills by night" with The Awakening, a dramatic procession of the walking dead, a Thriller performance and the resurrection of Dr. Fright.

The wholesome wonder woman (Kaylie) was counting the days until she could return to Great Adventure’s Fright Fest. She wanted to see “The Awakening” show very badly. We arrived forty-five minutes early to reserve our spots. We were in the 2nd row and were able to see everything up close and personal. The music, the special effects, the smoke, the dancing, it was all perfect! We both loved the show and can’t wait to see it again. 5797
