After a week of non-stop rain, you guys were ready to hit the playground. We went on a long walk by the creek, all the way up to your favorite tree, then to the playground, swings and slide. May 12, 2009 Smithville Park

I love nautical/maritime kits so I was thrilled when I found My Little Sea Adventure in the store. Mystique used a beautiful color palette of blue, green and tan and included a lot of fun elements, such as waves, crabs, 3 types of fishes, shark, clouds, boats, lighthouse, foliage, bird silhouttes, palm trees and island. This kit is perfect for scrapping pictures of your kids in the pool, at the lake or at the beach.

Atlantic City Beach

This was our first time going to the beach this year. The kids had so much fun playing in the sand and frolicking in the water...can you guess what I was doing? Yes, I was taking pictures and admiring the view.

If you need a kit to scrap your water, pool or beach pictures, may I suggest you look at this one. And check out the alpha too....it is fab.

This is my proof that I was there...my footprints in the sand.

Kaylie and Emanuel swept by the currents.

Emanuel swept by the current.

Wave crashing...

I like the action and perspective on this photo. All the way in the front you can see Kaylie in the water, Liam in full motion tagging along, as well as Emanuel in full view following behind.

I really like this shot...so serene and tranquil.

Check her out...so cute!

We finally made it to the beach, yeah! All summer long the kids have been clamoring for a trip to the beach. I am not very good with directions to far away places so unless dh goes with me, I am not going by myself. Thankfully, dh is started his stay-cation this week so he was able to drive us. :)

I invited my friend Elizabeth and her son, Emanuel. We met at summer camp last year and have been good friends ever since.

The kids loved it, especially Kaylie. She has been like a fish this year...all the time in the water. Liam had a blast splashing and jumping in the waves. I took a fair amt. of picts. and a few short videos....which I will post as soon as blogger lets me.

Room With A View! Awesome Template = Awesome Page!

I know that I am biased, but I love this page. I asked/suggested to Wendy that she create a room template and this is what she came up with. Isn't it awesome?! I knew you would agree. I can see this page printed in full glory (12x12) and framed.

The Art of Relaxation / Farewell to Sylvie/Sausan Designs

Sylvie Wagner/Sausan Designs is no longer at Scrapbook-Graphics. We will miss her so much. She is not only a fabulous designer, but a sweet and kind person, too. Wishing you much success, Sylvie.

Anyway, this is my farewell page. The Bg. ppr. is divine and oh so perfect for blending. The acrylic tags and sand mound are terrific touches, too.

Journaling: What an exciting day this was for you both! Chasing waves, looking for seashells and building sand castles. 6-14-07
