Autumn: Sunlit Dreams

It was a sunlit afternoon
the little boy sat on the lawn
watching the leaves swirl around.
They called to him,
“come here, play with us.”
So he did.

Autumn: Sunlit Dreams

A Perfect Autumn Day - Memorial Page

It was a sunny and breezy day, ideal weather for a walk. Mom came to visit so we took the kids to the creek and Smithville Park. The trees looked so beautiful with their green, brown, gold, yellow, rusty leaves. Nov. 2, 2005

On Saturday, Daddy was raking the fallen leaves - Kaylie offered to help. She played with the garbage bag meant to hold the leaves, then ran up and down the sidewalk filling the bag with air, all while waiting for Daddy to gather them up in a pile so she could jump in them. She did everything, but help. :)

Rain/Raindrops

We've been having a lot of rain as of late. Truth be told, I am sick of the rain, but I love the drops of water sliding down the leaves and flowers in the garden. Here are a few of my favorites.

Macro shot...I didn't even know my camera had that feature. It pays to read the manual. :)

Today was a great day...the temp. reached 80 degrees F. I took the kids to the farm to pick out their pumpkins. Went to the farmer's market but didn't stay as the place was jam packed and couldn't find a parking spot. I spent 20 minutes trying to get out of the place. Then took the kids to the lake for a walk and leaf picking. The colors are so vibrant! Anyway, here are a few of the shots I took today.

Before I forget, guess where I went yesterday... guess...you guessed it, Great Adventure! The kids had a great time, as usual.

Dancing, Falling Leaves / Impressions of Comfort

I love this page and I love Impression of Comfort! Is this not a most wonderful and fun page? Doesn't this make you want to be a kid again to be able to jump in piles of leaves and swim in them? I don't know about you, but I know it does make me want to join in! Did I not pick the most perfect papers for my photos? And look at that fabulous swirly wind carrying the leaves away from the pile to land just atop the rubber band? The leaves are from Birgit's Glorious Autumn collaboration kit with Flergs. (see link below)
