Meet Miss Daisy

As part of Kaylie’s school Thanksgiving project, she had to make a turkey out of a brown paper bag, a ribbon, feathers and newspapers. She named her DAISY. She got an Easter basket, filled it with grass and made it her home. She has to take Daisy everywhere she goes and keep a 5-day journal. The journal entries have to be written from Daisy’s perspective.

Meet Miss Daisy

I Spy...Colors and Textures

I Spy colors and textures.
I love the worn look of the background, with the plant creeping up to anchor the photo.

Kaylie's artwork. She loves to paint with watercolors.

Trees at Smithville Lake. They are gigantic!

I love the bright colors of these leaves, while everything else is drab.
