Week in Review: 8/4 to 8/10 (photo intensive post)

PUKING TIME

Poor Liam, shortly after breakfast his tummy started feeling queasy. I know he is sick when he doesn't want to eat or drink anything. He started crying and then hurling. He can be seen here hugging the toilet bowl. After he was through hurling, he went to bed to sleep it off. He slept about 3-4 hours, but when he woke up he was fine.
I made him chicken stew (his favorite), which he ate without throwing it back up. :)
Thank goodness for small miracles.

Sleeping it off. Notice the barf bag close by. :)

SURVIVOR GIRL!
Kaylie is so funny! Once in a while she'll start pulling grass and collects it; she then pretends that she is boiling them, just like SURVIVORMAN does.

GREAT ADVENTURE, Again!

Longhorn Foghorn was pretending to peck her head...she thought it was hilarious.

The Living Statue Garden performers...love them!

Dirt time!
-Kaylie, what is that dirt doing on your face?
-What ever do you mean,
Mom? I wasn't playing with dirt.
-Really? I wonder how it ended on your face then. Let me show you (took
picture)
-I don't know how it go there, Mama!

August 6 - Pool time!
I took the kids over to my neighbor's pool to cool off.
Check out those goggles! Kaylie loves her goggles.
He looks a bit dorky but oh so cute!
Liam practicing his doggy paddle skills.
August 4, 2008 - Woolman's Lake
I love Thistles. Granted they are very thorny and grow slowly, but I look forward to seeing them every summer.
I adore the way the seeds are hovering over the flower heads ready for takeoff. 1138

Week in Review: 8/1 Crazy Hair Day

Crazy Hair day at summer camp.
Liam just want his hair multi-colored.
Kaylie wanted something original. I parted her hair 3 ways. Braided one side, made a pony tail on the other side, and rolled her hair in the middle. I also made a zulu knot and attached a grapevine with leaves...it looked funny. The hair in the back was loose... she came home very happy as she was the most original.

Week In Review: 7/30 Movie Day/Summer Camp

Kaylie and Liam were super excited as it was movie day at Summer camp. They were going to the theater to watch JIMMY NEUTRON. I sent juice and popcorn to keep them hydrated and fed. :)

You know that juice and popcorn are a must for an enjoyable movie experience.

Summer Is Here and I am Feeling

I took Liam to get his hair cut this past Saturday. He looks so different. The photo were taken a few days apart.
Summer is here and I am feeling bogged down. There is so much to do and it seems that there is so little time. The kids started summer camp, which they like. It is only 3 hours though. When they come back from the park, the are ready to be at each other's throats at a moment's notice.
Tomorrow I have to take Kaylie to the pediatrician. She has been having stomach problems for a while now. It comes and goes, but seems to be lasting longer this time, so it is time to have it checked out. We'll see how that goes.
At the moment, they are having lunch as we are getting ready to head on out to Great Adventure.
Have you seen the newest collection at Scrapbook-Graphics? Impressions of Laughter is jammed-packed with summer colors and fun embellishments. Go check it out.
Also, there is a guess designer....Hollie Haradon. Her kit, My Happy Place, is absolutely wonderful! I made a page with it, but you will have to wait to see it tomorrow. Let me just say that if you like naturalistic elements such as birds, nests, leaves and botanical looking pages, you will love this kit.
I almost forgot to tell you that the awesome Rachel Young is now selling at Scrapbook-Graphics!
Oh yeah (forgive the use of slang) I am also working on an album using Vera Lim's Fairy Garden Collection. I have 5 pages to do before I am done with it. I am having it printed at Walmart for optimal quality.
Now, I really got to go, talk to you later.
