On Saturday, the kids' went to their friend's 8th birthday party. It rained so the kids had to stay inside the house. Liam spent the majority of his time playing video games.

I can't believe it! My Christmas cactus actually bloomed. It only took 1 year for it to produce one flower plus 2 other blooms.

Week in Review: 8/2 Quinceanero

Kaylie, Daddy and a cousin.


The dance floor. Kaylie had fun dancing with her cousins. They loved the bubbles machine and the smoke machine. The lights were a hit, too.

A few weeks back we got invited to a Quinceanero (the equivalent of sweet 16). The kids had a great time. We came back home after midnight, which was a treat for them.

Slide Show: Cinderella Story

It has been a busy weekend. Now that the kids are home they are taking up a huge chunk of my time. It is extremely tiring to keep 2 kids busy all of the time and out of each other's hairs, so to speak.

Anyway, I just couldn't see uploading 50 photos to my blog so I made a slide show instead where you can see the actual progression of the show. I include some captions to help the story along. I was limited in space so they might appear cryptic.

It was a wondeful show; I can't say enough about it.
